New paintings from 2014 - 2016 are currently installed in a stairwell leading down to my basement and carpentry shop in my current home in Bedford - Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, NY in 2016. I enjoy seeing the work daily as they provide new inspiration for future work.
OVERLAPPING ENCLOSURE - 2009 is currently installed in my home in Bedford - Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, NY in 2016. I also designed and fabricated the chandelier over the dining room table. I found a discarded ban saw blade that I found on the street shortly after moving to New York in 2011. My initial thoughts after this find was to create a lighting fixture using the blade as the structure. The teeth are facing upwards and prevent the loops wires that hold the crystals from sliding down the undulating curves of the metal.

TRANSIT-LINE TRAWL - 2006 was installed in a private home in Tampa, Florida in 2008. I used masonry trawl knives and blades for the majority of the paint application. My action for applying included spreading, dragging and pulling the paint across the surface of the canvas.

LANDSCAPE ENTRANCE - 1999 was used in a window display for St. Germain Shoes in Canal Place Mall, New Orleans, LA in 2000.
TENSION - 1995, RED TAIL - 1996 and DEEP STRUCTURE - 1997 was installed for my Senior Exhibition located within the Danna Gallery, Loyola University, New Orleans, LA in 1997. TENSION was in a private collection until destroyed by hurricane Katrina. I still own RED TAIL and DEEP STRUCTURE is in a private collection in New Orleans.
I moved REESTABLISHED - 1995 outside on the exterior wall of the gallery building to repair, sign and photograph. It was then installed in a group show for the Fountain of Youth Lifestyles Gallery located on Magazine Street in New Orleans, LA in 1995. The painting is currently in a private collection in Austin, Texas.
UNDER THE BELLS OF IRELAND - 1991 was moved outside to take this photo shortly after completion. The outdoor location is the backyard of my parent's home in New Orleans, LA in 1991.
